Exhibition to Prepare for Unexpected Disasters

With the Noto Peninsula Earthquake in 2024 and various other disasters continuing, we will exhibit products that can be used in times of disaster and for disaster prevention all at once. This exhibit will further deepen your knowledge of welfare x disaster prevention.

Based on the experience of the 2024 Noto Peninsula Earthquake and other past earthquakes, panels will introduce welfare shelters, DWAT, and disaster relief volunteer efforts.

Panels to introduce products from H.C.R. 2024 exhibitors that can be used for disaster preparedness and products that can be used in times of disaster.

Emergency power, water, temporary toilets, beds, food, and other actual items for use in times of disaster are also on display. Visitors can touch, assemble, and experience these items.

Cardboard beds can be assembled easily and quickly by anyone

In times of disaster, many people visit evacuation centers, and it is necessary to set up living spaces for each family/individual. It is said that it takes two adults 10 minutes to assemble a conventional corrugated cardboard bed, which is not enough for the staff of a city office. In response, the “QUICK BASE” was designed to be easily assembled by anyone, not limited to staff, by referring to the assembly manual. Since the QUICK BASE is sent to evacuation centers in an 80% completed condition, it can be completed by an adult in about 2 minutes. It is made of all-corrugated cardboard without using sticky tape or glue. It is meant to quickly (QUICKLY) secure a place (BASE) for people anxious about losing their own place in a disaster.
