The use of technology that is around many people, such as smartphones, computers, and Internet services, can make a big difference in the lives of people with disabilities and the elderly.

For example, people who cannot read printed materials can read e-books with ease by adjusting the legibility and using the read-aloud function. People who have communication difficulties because they cannot use their voice can enjoy chatting on their smartphones, and with the addition of an application, they can even have voice conversations. These ICT devices around us are expanding the possibilities of activities and support for people with various difficulties.
