Enjoy Active Zone

We will hold three types of competitions that anyone can easily enjoy: molkky, soccer for people with disabilities (deaf soccer, electric wheelchair soccer, blind soccer, and amputee soccer), and barrier-free e-sports! Play experiences using children's playground equipment are also scheduled to take place every day at noon!

Experiences that can only be had at H.C.R. await you!

Deaf Soccer/Deaf Futsal

Soccer and futsal played by people with hearing impairments.  The rules are basically the same as for able-bodied players, but referees rely on visual information, using flags as well as whistles.

Power wheelchair soccer

This is a four-player soccer game mainly played by people with severe disabilities who have difficulty walking independently.  Players operate joystick-type controllers with their hands or chins and play in power wheelchairs.

Blind soccer

This is a five-a-side soccer game played by visually impaired people wearing blindfolds.  They use balls that make a sound when they roll and rely on the voices of those around them to play.

Amputee soccer

This is a seven-a-side soccer game played by people with amputated legs or arms.  Players remove their prosthetic legs and arms used in daily life and play while supporting themselves with crutches.

Experience the world of Barrier-Free e-Sports!

Following last year's event, the Barrier-Free e-Sports Experience booth, where visitors can participate regardless of age, gender, time, location, or disability, will make its second appearance!  The latest accessibility information, including controllers and game settings, will also be available!

Various of game titles can be experieneced!

In fighting game titles, you can see the players' moves up close, including the  “SHINGAN (mind's eye)” style, which does not use any visual information!

In addition, new fitness games are also planned!  You can enjoy them alone or in a group!

A sport originating in Finland where players aim to score exactly 50 points by knocking down wooden pins with numbers written on them.  With simple rules and no need for strength, it is a sport that can be enjoyed by people of all ages and abilities, including those with disabilities!

The sport is simple, yet profound! We hope you will experience the charm of Mölkky!
