Since ratifying the Convention on the Rights of Persons with Disabilities in 2014, Japan has been advancing environmental improvements to guarantee rights and promote social participation for children and persons with disabilities.

This symposium will explore future directions while introducing the latest trends in Europe regarding support systems for the independence and social participation of children and persons with disabilities.
